1Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Tech Quotes, LLC, doing business as Tech Quotes (“Tech Quotes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit tech-quotes.com (the “Site”) or request a quote, consultation, or other services from us.

2Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our quote form, use our website assistant, or otherwise contact us, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, business name, work email, phone number, current provider, approximate monthly spend, the services you’re interested in, any message you write, and any documents you upload (such as a copy of your current bill or invoice).
Information we collect automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- your IP address and approximate location and internet service provider derived from it;
- the page you’re on, the website or ad that referred you, and marketing parameters in the URL (for example, UTM tags or click identifiers);
- device and browser details such as browser type, operating system, language, and screen size; and
- timestamps for when you arrived and when you submitted a form.
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 6.
3How we use information
- To prepare and deliver quotes, pricing comparisons, and recommendations you request;
- to answer questions you ask through our website assistant;
- to contact you about your inquiry by email, phone, or text;
- to source pricing and availability from telecommunications and IT providers on your behalf (see Section 4);
- to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site and our services; and
- to comply with law and protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
4How we share information
We are an independent advisor that works with many carriers and vendors. To do our job, we share information in the following ways:
- With providers and carriers. When you ask us to find or compare service, we share the details necessary to obtain quotes and provision service with the relevant telecommunications and IT providers, carriers, and their representatives.
- With service providers. We use vendors that perform functions on our behalf — for example, website hosting and form processing (Netlify), scheduling (Calendly), email, and analytics — and they may process your information solely to provide those services to us.
- For legal reasons. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Tech Quotes, our clients, or others.
- In a business transfer. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not currently share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide the choices described in Section 7.
5Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, provide and improve our services, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, after which we delete or de-identify it.
6Cookies, analytics & advertising
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to function and to measure basic traffic. We do not currently use third-party advertising or visitor-identification trackers. If we add them in the future, we will update this policy to describe them and the choices available to you.
You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Note that some features of the Site may not work properly if you disable cookies.
7Your choices and rights
You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at john@tech-quotes.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and certain targeted advertising. Because we do not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, no separate opt-out is required at this time; if that changes, we will provide one. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at john@tech-quotes.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and we will verify your request as required by law.
8Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites and tools we don’t control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy practices.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes may be communicated by additional notice.
